Fixes:
- SOAP Notes -- Fixed an issue where creating a new note, after deleting all previous notes, could cause an error
- SOAP Notes -- Fixed an issue that would cause an exception error to appear while saving a new SOAP note.
- SOAP Notes -- Clicking Quick Entry buttons will no longer cause their associated text to be placed at the beginning of the Note field.
- SOAP Notes -- Removed the underscore from the 'Close Note' since closing a note cannot be triggered by an alt key combination.
- Posting -- Fixed an issue that would cause an error to appear if a transaction was posted with a doctor number that didn't exist.
- WritePad? Export -- Fixed an issue that would cause the WritePad? Export file to incorrectly report the Fax number for some patients.
- View Menu -- Removed the underscore from the Calendar entry, since it cannot be opened using an alt key shortcut combination.
- Daysheet Archive -- Entries in the daysheet archive will now show the correct date and time that daysheet was reset.
- Line Item Posting -- Recording payments against archived postings will no longer generate an exception error.
- Claims -- Fixed an issue where claims would not print the correct doctor name in box 33.
- Merged Letters -- Fixed an issue that could cause an error while creating new merged letters.
- Medinotes Export -- Fixed an issue that could cause patients to be skipped when transferring data to MediNotes.
- Handheld8000 Sync -- Fixed an issue that could cause errors while synicing Patient data to the Handheld8000
- Statements -- Fixed an issue where Statements, as well as other areas of the program, would incorrectly ignore entries dated within the boundaries of a specified date range.
Enhancements:
- Patient File -- Increased the length of the Notes field in the insurance adjuster area, to allow for 650 characters.
- Patient File -- The HCFA map will now show the CMS 1500 08/05 on all patients.
- Daysheet -- Reversals of credits are now shown and calculated on the deposit slip
- Statements -- Charge, Credit and Adjustment totals now line up with their applicable column on printed statements.
- Calendar -- Single Doctor/Room per page print outs will no longer print overlapping times on different pages
- Calendar -- Single Doctor/Room per page printouts will now have page numbering restart at 1 for each new room/doctor
- Calendar -- Single Doctor/Room per page printouts will now print all of Doctor/Room 1 before proceeding to Doctor/Room 2.
- Calendar -- When scheduling a patient, Patients with more than 1 case will automatically have the active case added to the case area of the new appointment screen. Patients who have more than 1 active case will require the applicable case be selected manually.
- Calendar -- Single Doctor/Room per page printouts will now follow only print times as defined by the Doctor or clinic schedule.
- Calendar -- Added an option to prevent empty time slots from printing.
This option can be turned on by selecting the 'Skip blank appointment slots when printing' option from the Calendar subsection of the User Options screen, found under the tools menu
- Appointments Screen -- Added the ability to automatically refresh the Appointments view on the main screen.
This option can be turned on by selecting the 'Refresh Main Screen Appointments View' checkbox under Calendar subsection of the User Options screen, found in the tools menu. The Refresh interval used is controlled by the 'Automatically Refresh the appointments grid every X minute(s)' option located in the same area.
- Posting -- Changes to the Date in the new transaction area will now only be remembered for transactions posted to that account.
- Insurance tracers -- Insurance Company name and address will now print at the top of all insurance Tracers.
- NYWC C4 -- Box 23 will now print the Assigned Doctor's name and address, as controlled by the 'Pay To Name' option in the Configure section of the Process Insurance Claims screen
- Bill Flash Export -- The clinic telephone number will now be included in the Bill Flash export file.
- Claims -- The NPI number printed in Box 33 can now be overwritten on a per case type basis.
Adding a value to the Box 33a PIN area of the 'View Doctor Case PIN's' area of the Edit Doctor screen will allow for specific values to be placed into box 33 instead of the NPI Number.
- Claims -- Added the ability to not print periods in box 21 on the CMS 1500 08/05 claim form.
This option can be enabled by selecting the 'Remove Periods in Box 21' checkbox in the Setup subsection of the Process Insurance Claims Screen
